Britain’s Got Talent 2013 Episode 1
Britain’s Got Talent 2013 rocked onto the screen this week. I love this show almost as much as the Voice UK. This was my favourite audition from this weeks episode.
Arisxandra Libantino is just 11 years old but sounds like a 20 year old. Wow what a stunning performance. She has an amazing voice. She sang “One Night Only” by Jennifer Hudson.
This week we also met Jack Caroll just 14 years old who has cerebal palsy. Jack did one of the most natural comedic performances I’ve seen in a long time. He uses his condition for genuine comedy value. It was like a breath of fresh air on the stage. Very funny and he made it look so easy. Definitely one to keep an eye on.
We also met Alice Fredenham who gave us a rendition of “My Funny Valentine”. Sultry is the word I’d use to describe this performance. I picked this one out because I think Alice was really brave. She wanted to see if she could live a dream and ended up with standing ovation! There was no drama, no build up she came by herself just to see if she could do it. And she blew the crowd away with some astonishing moves and sounds. Wow.
These auditions from Britain’s Got Talent were my top 3 of this weeks show. I could have also chosen “Attraction” which was a shadow performing audition. But I’ve seen it done before online and there have been some better versions. However, if you haven’t seen a shadow performance you should watch it because they are good. And to be fair it brought Amanda Holden to tears.
Simon Cowell finally made it up on stage after 7 years of trying to get him up there! With Keri Graham’s “Chair Exercises”. Of course this was down to David Walliams who danced alongside Keri with Simon sat on the chair.
And in closing the Gospel Choir “Incognito” audition has one of those unexpected moments too.
